He was from a middle class family. He was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire, United States of America and was raised in Australia from the age of two. He attended Luther College during his high school years.

Baddeley is a married man. He married his wife Richelle on April 15, 2005. Both of them are committed Christian and have a deep faith in god. They together have two children, both daughters Jewell Kalaih and Jolee.

 

1999

Won Holden Australian Open

Since his childhood days, Baddeley was seen as one of the most promising talents in world golf. He represented Australia in the Eisenhower Trophy and he was the youngest player ever to do that. He also won the Holden Australian Open as an amateur in 1999. 

2001

Won the Greg Norman Holden International

 He had shown that he will become the most promising talents in world golf. In 2001, he won the Greg Norman Holden International in Australia. The same year, he also won the PGA Tour of Australasia's Order of Merit in 2000/01. 

2005

Reached the world top 10

2001 was really a year to remember for his. However for the next few years he came to be overshadowed by his Australian contemporary Adam Scott. He was less than a year older than Baddeley. But it true that time always don't remain the same, in 2005 he reached the world top 10.

 

2006

Won his first PGA Tour title

In 2004, he struggled a lot for consistency. However, it was a solid rookie season, he finished 73rd on the money list. He only just retained his card in 2004 and he was placed 124th. In 2005 he raised up his rankings to 78th and in 2006 he won his first PGA Tour title at the Verizon Heritage.

Baddeley married Richelle on April 15, 2005. Both of them are committed Christian and have a deep faith in God. They are living a happy married life along with their two children; both were daughters Jewell and Jolee. He has never rumored for having any extramarital affairs. The couple is living a happy married life. 

During his early career and in his late teens, Baddeley was seen as one of the most promising talents in the world of golf. He represented Australia at the Eisenhower Trophy. Moreover, he was the youngest player ever to represent his nation at Eisenhower Trophy.
