Adam Driver's accidental success

Adam Driver was in the Marine Corps before he persuaded his career in acting. During an interview, Driver said that a deadly accident made him pursue his career as an actor.  He said:

I was like, I'm going to smoke cigarettes and be an actor when I get ou. Those were my two thoughts. I wanted to smoke cigarettes and be an actor. 

Later, Driver auditioned for Juilliard School and got placed.
