Adam then attended Ryerson University's film program and won the 'Norman Jewison Filmmaker's Award' for his graduating short, "Token for your Thoughts", which also won a 'Gold Plaque Award' at the Chicago Intercom Festival. 

He also appeared in the Kids in the Hall movie Brain Candy. He also played Joe Shuster in Heritage Minute commercials and has also appeared in commercials for Future Shop and WestJet and Toyota starring as an insecure young commercial director in the process of making a Toyota ad.
