She also had a successful amateur career as won her first gold medal when she was just 12. She is also known for being the champion of 2009 Russian Junior Championships. In 2009, she was unable to join Junior Grand Prix circuit because of her age. However, she made the junior Grand Prix debut in 2010 and finally won the gold medal the same year. She competed in the 2011 Russian Championships and claimed the gold medal in the World Junior Championships. At the end of 2015, she took part in 2016 Russian Championships there she was ranked 6th.
