She was first married to CNN correspondent Joe Johns. The pair’s marital relationship wasn’t really talked about. Both the couple were into the same field based on their profession. Thus, only their professional life appeared in the limelight, but not their love life.

Eventually, in 2008, Bernard and Johns’ marriage fell apart. They ended their marriage in a low-key divorce. Not much information came out regarding their split. Neither Bernard nor her former husband revealed the reason behind their separation.

Although Michelle Bernard failed at her first marriage, her current married life appears to be stable. It is good to know how Barnard found love after her divorce from Johns. However, Johns didn’t tie the knot with any after his first marriage ended in divorce. We hope he’ll also find the right one for him soon.
