Firstly, Alan started his career as a stand-up comedian, however later he decided to pursue his career in radio and starting working at WABC for the morning drive slot. After working for few years, he moved to Fox News as co-host for the show, Hannity & Colmes.
Colmes' outstanding performance bridged him to run his own show, The Alan Colmes Show. He also appeared in a live program at Shovio.com's new broadcasting technology as well as in Talk Black TV and frequently appeared in Monica Crowley along with his sister-in-law.
