Marg met her former husband for the first time in 1984 on the sets of ‘Ryan’s Hope’. Alan appeared as a guest actor in the same series. In 1986, the pair’s friendship transformed into a love affair. Subsequently, in 1989, they got hitched.

In 1990, Marg became a mother for the first time. She and her then-husband welcomed a son named Hugh Howard who was named after Marg’s late father.

Just like the majority of other married couples, their marriage started falling apart as well. On 1st December 2008, the news about the couple’s split came out. Eventually, on 25th March 2009, Marg filed for divorce which got finalized only in February 2010.

Marg’s relationship with her ex-husband Alan Rosenberg appears to be in good terms despite the divorce. She posted a cute photo of themselves on her Instagram in February. In fact, one of her hashtags included ‘friendsforlife’.

After ending her 20-year long marriage with former husband Alan, Marg dated art collector Alan Finkelstein. In fact, Marg and her new boyfriend are still together.
