Director friend of Alexandar's father was a great support for Alexandar to entered into the movie industry, who gave him his debut movie Ake and His World (1984). At the age of thirteen, Alexander got a chance to cast in a lead role as Jojjo in "The Dog That Smiled", 1989.
Besides his acting career, Alexandar gave his 18 months to Swedish military. After completing his service, he left the Sweden and attended Beckett University for 6 months in England.
Later, Skarsgard returns from England and began his acting career from several movies and tv series with very short roles. Later he debuted as a Fred in Idag rod (1987) tv series.
