Alexander Skarsgård shares his experience of starring in his latest movie - 'The Legend of Tarzan'

'The Legend of the Tarzan' has released on the first of this month and everyone is excited about it and why not? Alexander Skarsgård looks simply stunning in that Tarzan get-up and if you are a 90’s kid the name Tarzan is going to give you all sorts of feels.

Trust me on that. The actor portraying Tarzan, however, has some secret facts to reveal about his experiences and the absolutely amazing body he has in the movie.

In the recent promotions of the movie, the graduate of Leeds Metropolitan University Skarsgård revealed how the Tarzan diet was one of the most challenging parts of the movie.

Still recovering from the loss of Sweden in Euro Cup 2016, he did not shy away to admit that his food might have ruined a few takes on the set too.

It was a constant reminder for all of his co-stars: Margot Robbie, Christoph Waltz, and Samuel L Jackson about how hard the actor has worked in this role. They would tease him at times, having good food, and then somehow feel pity for him and finish it away from him.

Skarsgård, who was born in Stockholm was in this phase for nine long months and had the tiniest meal for six times a day. Now that it is gone,  he also admitted laughingly about how he missed the feeling of being full and the anxiety of being hungry which was always there.

If that was not enough for him getting into shape was challenging too after all of that which was highly amusing for him as he thought he would not be able to do that. But in that test of endurance, the actor has definitely passed with flying colors because the movie is highly anticipated for all the good reasons.

Enjoying a net worth of 12 million dollars and being famous for movies such as Zoolander, Battleship, and Disconnect, he, however, is not at all active on any social sites. But it would absolutely be wrong to say that he maintains a private life because his PDA with British model Alexa Chung is adorable. Previously dating Kate Bosworth for two years, he is in a relationship with Chung since early 2015 and has not been married or divorced either. Yet there is also news that the actor might make her his wife.

Loved by the audience for playing the vampire Eric Northman on the very famous HBO series- True Blood. They have even made a term called the ”Skarsbrow”, which technically means the way the actor raises his left eyebrow making them go all crazy about him.

The actor, whose age is 40 years, takes pride in admitting that he is a foodie and in his break he was either stuffing protein in his mouth or either working hard for the role because somewhere it was his father's dream for him. He shared his memory about how as a child his father- Stellan Skarsgård (of Thor and Pirates of Caribbean fame) had introduced to him this character while watching those black and white movies. Since then, the actor, who has an impressive height (six feet and four inches), kept climbing and pretended as if he was living in a jungle. Guys, he was just a kid. No judging there.
