As she was interested in music and singing since a young age, she joined Australian National University where she studied music. She also got enrolled at Royal Northern College of Music from there she completed her Bachelor of Music. She moved back to Australia from Europe and then she joined Opera Australia. She also became their principal soprano till 2005.
