Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender have opened up about playing husband and wife in their upcoming movie 'The Light Between Oceans.' The duo met on the set of the movie in 2014 and is a real life couple now.
In an interview with ET, Vikander and Michael recalled the first time they met each other. “We had met at Toronto Film Festival and just on the dance floor,” Alicia says, with Michael adding, “I thought I was a good dancer until she started dancing and then I felt like I had two left feet.”

The couple also revealed the sparky chemistry between them was “sort of there from the beginning.”
"I remember on the first day we actually worked we stepped out and you said 'Give me something new, give me something new'," Alicia says, with Michael smiling by her side. "And that kind of just set the terms of always trying to find a new door that was going to lead us down a new path." while Michael added, "you're pushing each other and supporting each other all the way, and that's pretty much what we did."

Michael also revealed how he relishes this chance to play yet another challenging role and complicated character, noting this opportunity is particularly “kind of rare.”
"It was just a very human story about real human beings trying to navigate life and sort of making decisions that perhaps aren't the best ones," he said.
'The Light Between Oceans' will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and is set to hit the screens on September 2, 2016, in North America.
