In a 2013 interview, Raisa opened up about her awkward dating experiences as she revealed that she went on a date with a guy once because he asked her to hang out. She also says that boys these days don't know a proper way of asking a girl out. Rasia avoided that guy by telling him that she was really happy being single at the time and that she didn’t want a boyfriend.

The way that guy reacted was kinda obvious because he thought that the actress was actually dating him. Raisa recalled the guy's words and said: 

“And he goes, ‘If you want to be single, then why are you on a date with me?’ My friends make fun of me for this. Guys don’t say, ‘Hey, can I take you on a date?’ They go, ‘Let’s hang.”

In 2006, Raisa was in an open relationship with her ex-boyfriend Shane Sparks. They dated for three long years. During their togetherness as partners, they made various appearances together including the 2008's VMA.

The pair separated in a low-key breakup in 2009. Neither Raisa nor Sparks revealed the real reason behind their split, but the 28-year-old actress shared some wise words about her relationship with her former lover. She said: 

“Ummm.. I learned a very valuable lesson after dating Shane Sparks. I don’t kiss and tell.”

After Sparks, Raisa dated actor Hosea Chanchez in 2008. Within the same period of time, Raisa was also said to have an encounter with Romeo Miller. The romance between the couple is said to have ended somewhere in 2012. 

Raisa's alleged affair with Miller didn't really affect her relationship with Chanchez as they got engaged in February 2013. Sadly, they broke up before getting married.
