Born in Flushing, Queens, New York, to an Albanian Muslim father and an American Jewish mother, Action Bronson initially worked as a fire-flame gourmet chef in New York City.  But after breaking his leg, Bronson continued his music career.

On March 15, 2011, Bronson made his studio debut in the album Dr. Lecter under Fine Fabric Delegates. And following a year, Action Bronson, on March 12, 2012, released his second mixtape, titled Blue Chips, with Party Supplies.

Action Bronson moved to Atlantic Records in March 2013 with a deal with Goliath Artists which has housed Eminem, The Alchemist, Blink-182 and Danny Brown, and subsequently released an extended play (EP) titled Saaab Stories, on June 11, that year.

Bronson released Blue Chips 2, the second installment in his Blue Chips series on November 1, 2013, also the second biggest achievement of his music career. On August 5, 2014, Action Bronson released his debut album Mr. Wonderful.
