On 18th of September 1999, Amy got married to her beloved husband John Ritter. John Ritter was an American actor and producer. He was famous for his role in Three's Company. The husband and wife together starred in several productions. Before getting married to John in late 1999, Amy Yasbeck dated him for long and had a romantic love affair and relationship.
From this romantic love life and marriage, they also together had a sweet child: a baby daughter named Stella Ritter who was born in 1998. John died on 11th of September 2003 of aortic dissection.
After the death of John, Amy accused Lee, the doctor to diagnose Ritter, of Ritter's murder and according to Amy, Lee misdiagnosed John's condition as a heart attack and performed the aortic dissection surgery.

After the demise of her beloved husband, Ritter, Amy filed a $67 million wrongful death lawsuit against doctors who treated him, also including the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center. The lawsuit was settled for a total of $14 million, in which Providence St. Joseph made the payment of $9.4 million.
In August 2017, Amy sold her Beverly Hills which she shared with her late husband John Ritter, for $6.55 million.
