Andrea debuts her acting career from daytime soap opera from 1995 to 1997 and also used to appear in Guiding Light playing the role of Theresa Sandoval. After years of hard work she finally got small film role in Girl 6 and also appeared as the guest in “The district and New York Undercover”. Navedo also acted in action comedy movie “Double Take” which turned out to be a huge hit.
Furthermore, she was seen playing lead and major role in Law & Order also seen as guest appearance in Blue” She was casted in some of the famous movies like “Damages”, “White collar”, “Bright”, “Last I Heard”, “Remember Me”, “Washington heights” and is heavily appreciated for her TV appearances in some series like “Golden Boy”, “Law & Order: Special Victim Unit” and “How to make it in America”.
In 2014 Andrea gained a permanent role of Xiomara “Xo” Villanueva in comedy drama series, Jane the Virgin which entitled her with an Imagen Award for Best supporting Actress- Television in comedy and drama series, Jane the Virgin.
