Andrea Tantaros files sexual harassment lawsuit against former CEO Roger Ailes & host Bill O'Reilly

Just weeks after Gretchen Carlson filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Roger Ailes, prompting at least 20 other women to come forward with their own 'encounters' with Ailes, another similar case has come forward, but this time, it doesn't only concern the former Fox News CEO.

On Monday, former Fox News host Andrea Tantaros filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Roger Ailes and host Bill O'Reilly, alleging that she was sexually harassed by both of them during her days working at the network.

She further went on to claim that the newly appointed Fox News co-president Bill Shine wanted her to drop those allegations so as to stop the further defamation of the company.

"Fox News masquerades as a defender of traditional family values, but behind the scenes, it operates like a sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult, steeped in intimidation, indecency and misogyny," Tantaros claimed in the lawsuit.

In April, the chief lawyer for Fox said Tantaros, 37, was using the sexual harassment claims as a means to get leverage over the long-standing contract dispute.

He further went on to say that her contract was terminated because she published a book without the necessary consent of the company. However, her lawyer, Judd Burstein, said the book dispute is just an excuse the company is making to silence his client.

During the arbitration, Mr. Burstein said, "Fox News offered to pay her a sum “in the seven figures” if she renounced claims against Mr. Ailes and others at the network, including the host Bill O’Reilly."

“Ailes did not act alone,” the lawsuit stated. “He may have been the primary culprit, but his actions were condoned by his most senior lieutenants, who engaged in a concerted effort to silence Tantaros by threats, humiliation, and retaliation.”
