Andrew induced his film making interest since he was pursuing his undergraduate studies, however; he didn't desire to follow this interest after his graduation. However, he finally founded his own film production company Alcon Entertainment in 1997 after FedEx chairman and founder Frederick W. Smith financed them.

First movie, Lost & Found

After the formation of the Alcon Entertainment, he and his friend Broderick Johnson produced their debut movie, Lost & Found and it was released in 1999. However, this movie didn't get any positive feedback and it was a failure at the box office.

Second movie, My Dog Skip
