Angela Lansbury was born on October 16, 1925, in an upper-class family, in Regent’s Park, London, the United Kingdom. She is English and belongs to the white ethnicity.
Interested in music and acting, she began self-educating herself in acting and music, referring to books, arts, and cinema. Later, studied formal acting classes at the Webber Douglas School of Singing and Dramatic Art in Kensington, West London. She also briefly learned music at the Ritman School of Dancing before joining Webber Douglas School.
Just at the of 9, she had to suffer her father's death because of stomach cancer.
