Ant Anstead's Early Life & Education

Anstead was born in Plymouth, Devon, England, on March 28, 1979. The star belongs to the Caucasian ethnicity and holds British nationality. His zodiac sign is Aries. 

Until the age of 10, he lived in Ely Cambridgeshire, then migrated to Hertfordshire with his family. He has not revealed any information about his parents, however, in an interview, he mentioned having three siblings. 

He attended Richard Hale School located in Hertford, Hertfordshire, UK. Later, he joined Haileybury School to complete his A-Levels. 

Anstead's Career

In 1999, he joined the police force, the Hertfordshire Constabulary, and started serving as a Police Constable. He was 1st posted at the country's downtown market and civil parish, Bishop's Stortford.

Soon, he was transferred to Cheshunt police station, where he became a member of the Tactical Firearms Team, in Welwyn garden city. He was listed as the youngest armed officers in the history of the United Kingdom. His hard work and dedication to the police department earned him two awards for his acts of bravery. 

Later in 2005, he resigned from the police department as he wanted to pursue a career in building cars. He had always been fascinated by cars from a young age. Soon, after resigning, he started building cars. He also assembled the new unique classic vehicle as per the client's requirements.

With time, his client list increased rapidly across the globe and he was recognized globally as the best car builder. He made a good reputation in a short period of time. As of 2018, he has international waitlists of clients that exceed more than a year.

Besides, he is also interested in sculpting and has also made unique pieces of sculptures, which has been displayed in Museums and private collection around the world. 

In 2014, he produced a television company, where he hosted a show called " The world Most Expensive Cars" in his own production. The show made a huge buzz in the media, as a result, he was offered to host a Channel 4 car show, with British actor Philip Glenister. 

Likewise, he has also hosted the BBC live show named Building Cars Live, with co-actors Kate Humble and James May. 

He replaced Edd China and became the co-host of the Discovery Channel show, Wheeler Dealers in 2017. He also hosted some live stages in UK's car show and gave motivational speeches in schools & charities event. In the same year, he launched his book called Cops and Robber: The Story of the British Police Car.

Anstead is openly in a relationship with American real state investor and television personality Christina El Moussa. The romantic couple has been dating since 2017 but made it open in 2018. They are often spotted together at public events.
