Initially Anthony desired to be a standup comedian. He also appeared several times as a comedian but he was panned. He was about to give up but his friend told him to be in the stage show and then finally in 1996 he appeared in the TV series, Hang Time. He starred the role of Teddy Broadis and appeared in about 39 episodes. He made his feature film debut in 1999 and that was in the movie, Liberty Heights. He got his rise in fame after he began starring the role of Anthony Anderson in his own TV series, All About the Andersons. His net worth is estimated to be around $18 million.
