In 1967, Arnold met his first love Barbara Outland. Barbara Outland is an English teacher and they continued this love affair till 1974.
In July 1977, Arnold began dating hairdresser Sue Moray. They were open in love and were completely dedicated towards each other but when he attended the Robert F. Kennedy Tennis Tournament in August, he saw beautiful lady Maria Shriver. He continued loving both of them but Moray knew about his extra affairs and she issued an ultimatum in August 1978. He married Maria Shriver on 26th of April 1986 and as a loving spouse they welcomed their first child in 1989. They have been together for about three decades but recently news about his separation with her became public.
Since his childhood days, Arnold was athletic and he was also good at several sports. However, at the age of 14 he decided to continue his life as a bodybuilding and quit playing soccer. In 1965, he joined Austrian Army and there he also became the champion of Junior Mr. Europe contest. He entered into the acting world since the early 1970s and his first acting role was in the movie, Hercules in New York. He gained worldwide fame after portraying his role in the movie, Conan the Barbarian.
