August Alsina is still in his teens, he came in the eyes of the public with covers of songs by Musiq Soulchild and Lyfe Jennings, uploaded to youtube. In 2007, he uploaded his first video on YouTube, cover songs of Lyfe Jennings titled ‘Hypothetically’ from the album ‘Lyfe 268-192.'
