Married life of Amy Yasbeck With Her Former Husband John Ritter

Let's start with the beginning. While Amy Yasbeck was struggling for being an actress in the 1990s, she got a call from a director named Dennis Dugan for a role in his new movie. That's the time,  Amy met the handsome actor John Ritter for the first time.

They together worked in the movie Problem Child and you know what was their role in the movie? They were playing the role of husband and wife in the movie.

After some interval, both of them started falling in love with each other and dated for so long. Despite their huge age difference, the couple tied the knot on 18th September 1999 but it seems their wedding ceremony was held secretly in front of only their closest friends and family members as we don't find a single picture of their wedding.

Before making their marriage official, the couple's beautiful daughter Stella Ritter is an actress and composer. She was already born in September 1998, and the birth of their first child gave them incredible happiness. The 36-year-old actress and late John Ritter were really blessed and incredibly happy.

However, their happiness didn't last forever and on Stella's 5th birthday, John suddenly fell into a coma. On 11 September 2003, John Ritter died of aortic dissection and Amy became a widow.

Amy then accused Lee, of Ritter's murder as he treated Ritter and according to Amy, Lee misdiagnosed his condition as a heart attack and performed the aortic dissection surgery.

The lawsuit coincidently led Amy to meet a lawyer Michael Plonsker and they both fought for justice.

The Ritter family received more than $14 million in the settlement with doctor Lee.

 Amy and Michael were thrown together by the insufferable circumstances of Amy's lawsuit. In 2013, Amy and Michael confirmed their relationship with the media. Rader.com said:

It was extremely hard on Amy, losing her husband and fighting for the justice, and Michael provided Amy a shoulder to cry on. Over time, they grew closer and eventually fell in love,

Ever since the couple is in a committed relationship and expresses their happiness with each other.
