Big Sean opened up about his struggle with depression and anxiety, which forced the rapper to cancel a tour in 2018.
The singer, 31, took to Instagram on his 31st birthday (Monday, March 25) and shared a series of videos in which he explained about his mental health issues.
He said in the clips that he realized last year that he was facing mental issues and had therapy for his problems.
He said, "I wasn't feeling like myself and I couldn't figure out why. I just felt lost - and I don't know how I got there."
Here're the posts, check them out.
Sean previously partly canceled a US tour last year because of the issues. He told Billboard at the time, "I never really took the time out to nurture myself."
Sean said further said that he does meditation to cope with depression and anxiety since the age of 17, but he needed to get professional help.
His words have had an impact on men of color who went through their mental health issues.
