After graduation from the University of Tennessee in 1974 with a degree in Industrial Management, Bob started his career as a businessman by started his own construction company with U.S $8,000, after working four years as a construction superintendent. Along with this, Bob was appointed Tennessee Commissioner of Finance and Administration in 1994, where he served for two years.
After that, Bob was elected as mayor of Chattanooga in 2001 and he transformed Chattanooga’s waterfront. He was the mayor of Chattanooga until 2005 and then in November of 2006, Bob Corker was again elected to serve the people of Tennessee in the United States Senate. In recent days Bob is the chairman of the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in the 114th Congress.
