Bob Einstein, 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Actor, Dies at Age 76

Bob Einstein, the two-time Emmy-winning writer and actor best known for his work on HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm", has died, multiple sources have confirmed can confirm. He was 76.

Bob was also known for portraying inept surrogate Larry Middleman on "Arrested Development" and stuntman "Super Dave" Osborne.

His younger brother, Albert Brooks, who is also a comedian and actor, took to Twitter on Wednesday, January 2, to confirm the death of his fellow actor.

Albert wrote, "R.I.P. My dear brother Bob Einstein. A great brother, father and husband. A brilliantly funny man. You will be missed forever."

Shortly after Bob's passing news emerged, multiple stars took to social media sites to pay tribute to the late actor.

His Curb co-star Richard Lewis said he was in shock about Bob's death, writing on Twitter,

I knew him forever. His long career is hard to match. His role on #curbyourenthusiasm was excruciatingly brilliant! Our cast and crew will be devastated. He was so loved. He told me how much he loved LD and Curb. RIP buddy.
