When Boyd was in their early 20s, Boyd got married for the first time in his life and that was with Peggy Jeanne King. From this married life he also became the father of this first child. But besides living a happy life as a husband and wife, they called off this married life in the late 1960s.
In 1971, Boyd got married to Diane Marie Ragone Elkins. Diane Marie Ragone Elkins is a beautiful lady. They welcomed three children from this married life. This marriage lasted for about two and half decades but this was not meant forever as they got divorced in 1996.
After spending a single life for about half a decade, Boyd again knotted a married relationship with Jo Andenise Clausen McGee in 2002. Jo Andenise Clausen McGee is a reality star as she has also appeared in several TV shows. Boyd nationality was American and he was of white ethnicity.
Boyd's fascination in the car and hot rod magazines pursued him to join a machinist trade school at a young age. There he attended a three-year apprenticeship in machining. From 1968, he began working in California. He built an old, classic American cars Hot rod during the day and at night he worked as a machinist at Disneyland. His intelligence in building Hot Rods made him renowned all over the United States. He opened his own shop in 1977 and founded Boyd's Wheels, Inc. in the late 1980s. At the end of 2007, he was admitted to the Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital. He underwent successful surgery in early 2008 but he died of sepsis and kidney complications on the 27th of February 2008 at the age of 63. His funeral was held at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
