Bret Michael is an American former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for several clubs in the position of defenseman. He is best known as a Stanley Cup Champion and two-times US Olympian. He was born on August 10, 1970, in Saint Paul, Minnesota.  

1991

Begin his Playing Career

Bret began his NHL career after he was drafted by the St.Louis Blues in the 1988 NHL Draft entry. He first played with the team in 1991-92 seasons after making his debut with 1992 US Olympic Team. From that time to 2009, he played with numbers of the team such as Vancouver Canucks, Florida Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, and Anaheim Ducks.

He was one of the best defensemen for all of the teams that he played for. During that interval, he achieved awards of Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes and led his team to victory as they won the first ice hockey WCHA athletic conference.
