An Amerian weather broadcaster, Bri Winkler is best known as the morning meteorologist for ABC7 Eyewitness News. She is also an active member of the Western States Stroke Task Force and brand ambassador of the American Stroke Association.

In 2014, Bri Winkler shared her story of stroke with the Eyewitness News and mentioned she had her first stroke in 2012 at the age of 24. The lady was rushed down to the hospital to get a scan and find what actually caused the stroke. With no abnormalities, she was sent back home with just some painkillers.
However, a week later, Bri Winkler again got sick, but this time even worse. She woke up at 5 am and found that she had lost her hearing (right ear) and couldn't feel her face. When she was rushed to the hospital by her family members, Bri had already suffered from slurred speech along with partial blindness.
