Bruce Greenwood is a Canadian actor and producer well known as Stuart Bruce Greenwood. He is known for his work as the American president in Thirteen Days, National Treasure: Book of Secrets and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and for his role as Captain Christopher Pike in J. J. Abrams's Star Trek.
Early life
Bruce was born on 12th August 1956 in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada to his mother Mary Sylvia, a nurse who worked in an extended care unit, and Hugh John Greenwood, a Vancouver-born geophysicist, and professor at Princeton University.
Greenwood graduated from the University of British Columbia and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He belongs to White Ethnicity and holds Canadian Nationality.
Career
After graduating from the University of British Columbia and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts he was seen in a passing role in a feature film and later he shifted to L.A. to try his luck in Hollywood.
Stuart debuted in acting career from Bear Island in 1979 and later he appeared in many Blockbuster Movies like Star Trek, starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and Leonard Nimoy, I-Robot, featuring Will Smith and Bridget Moynahan, Double Jeopardy, The Core, Thirteen Days, Eight Below, Firehouse Dog and many other.
