Burzis Kanga's Ex-Wife Hoda Kotb Adopts A Child, Currently Dating Boyfriend Joel Schiffman

The famous host that you usually see on NBC’s ‘Today Show's Hoda Kotb is a mom! The 52-year-old anchor revealed the great news of the arrival of a new baby in her life on 21st February 2017—leaving a lot of people to wonder if she is married.

Well, the answer is ‘no’. Even though the ex-wife of Burzis Kanga has been dating Joel Schiffman, a financier from NYC, they haven’t tied the knot yet. Thus, the new baby girl in Kotb’s life is not her biological daughter, but the noble lady has adopted her.

Hoda Kotb announced the adoption of a new-born baby

Kotb’s called into the Tuesday episode of the hit morning show on 21st February to share her happiness regarding the adoption of her little girl named Haley Joy Kotb. Haley who was born on 14th February is Kotb’s valentine’s baby as designated by Kotb herself.

Kotb received a lot of best wishes from her colleagues such as Jenna Bush Hager, Savannah Guthrie, Kathie Lee Gifford, etc. on Twitter.

Hoda Kotb was married to Burzis Kanga

Regardless of being married to Burzis Kanga in the past, Kotb doesn’t have any kids of her own. Kotb married the tennis coach in 2005, but their married life couldn’t last more than two years as they split in a divorce.

Hoda Kotb dating Joel Schiffman

Breast cancer survivor Kotb began dating Schiffman in 2015. Even though she didn’t mention Shiffman’s name anywhere while revealing the adoption of her baby, she seems to be happy with Schiffman as she opened up in an interview saying that Schiffman is her right person.

She also added that Schiffman showed her possibilities for everything which made her feel like he is the last one.

Kotb who is optimistic about her life ahead says that falling in love is her last risky move. She didn’t know that she could meet someone at this age and feel this way.

Hoda Kotb inspiration is her own mother

We truly believe that Kotb is going to be an incredible mother as being with kids is not a new thing for her. She is often spotted spending time with her nieces, Hannah and Ella. She will do a tremendous job in her new role as her own mother is her inspiration.

She says that her mother is the strongest and most optimistic person she’s ever met as she believes anything is possible. We want to convey our best wishes to Kotb for her relationship with Schiffman and congratulate her for being a new mom.
