1996

Joined NBC News

After earning her B.A. in Political Science, she worked as an English teacher in Czechoslovakia. She then joined KSNT-TV as a news reporter. After that she worked at WWBT-TV, WBAL-TV and WRC-TV. Finally in 1996, she joined NBC News.

2000

Covered the news about the 2000 US presidential election

After she was appointed by the NBC News, she began working as a White House correspondent and she also covered the 2000 U.S. presidential election. During her days in NBC News, she also worked as a substitute anchor of the NBC Nightly News.

Joined CNN
