Canadian actor and comedian Jay Baruchel opens up about the highly anticipated 'Goon' sequel

During the year 2012, there was a big sensation in Canada; the reason being a sports comedy film- Goon earned 2.1 million in Canadian theaters more than any other Hollywood movie that year. The biggest reason for this was the plot and the actors portraying the characters. One of the most noted actors in this was Jay Baruchel, who with his role of Pat won a lot of appreciation and accolades. After having missed the 'action' for quite long, the 34-year-old actor has some good news for his fans.

After this tweet, he also opened up about it in a recent interview in which he revealed how his health suffered and how he got an ulcer. Both of which came after directing a movie he claimed. He was also seen being thankful that the movie didn't turn out garbage due making up for all that he had to go through.
 

In the highly anticipated sequel Goon: Last of Enforcers, Baruchel would also be co-writing as well as co- starring in it. He has also acknowledged his co-artist Michael Dowse, who he feels is one hell of an artist and one of his biggest mentors.
 

Mentioning how it is a big challenge for him to make something that is so loved by everyone, he said how he doesn't want to disappoint anyone and live up to their expectations.He feels he doesn't have any choice but to give them the best as he has taken almost five years to make it. He also revealed a small plot how this sequel is going to be darker with more fighting - the answer being hockey. The perfect combination for the native of Canada.
