Carla Hall, after her graduation, worked at Price Waterhouse for two years and received a CPA license. Then subsequently, she began her modeling career and spent many years working as a model on the fashion shows like London, Paris, and Milan.
During the time of her career in different fashion shows, Hall slowly fell in love with the art of food. Moving to Washington D.C, she launched a delivery service with the company, “Lunch Bunch”.
To get progress as a chef, she attended L’Academie de Cuisine in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and earned a Culinary Career Training Certificate. She then served as the executive chef at the State Plaza and the Washington Club.
Moreover, Hall rose to fame after her selection on the fifth season of the "Top Chef" where she reached to a runner-up with the champion Hosea Rosenberg. In the competition, she impressed the judges with her finger licking, scrumptious crawfish gumbo, fresh peas and Emeril Lagasse.
And currently, she is one of the five co-hosts on the show “The Chew,” a one-hour talk show centered on food from all angles.
Taking eyes on her personal life, Carla is a married woman. Currently, she resides in Washington D.C. with her spouse Matthew Lyons and one step son. The husband and wife are together since 2006 and till now there is no any sign of divorce, extra affairs.
