Carolyn Clifford was born on 18th April 1970 in Detroit, Michigan. She was born under the zodiac sign Aries. Clifford grew up alongside her eight siblings on the northern side of Detroit. She holds American nationality and belongs to the Afro-American ethnic background.

Prior to her news reporting career, Carolyn spent some time in MSU’s Army ROTC. She started her career in journalism after she worked on CBS affiliated in both FL, Orlando, and Lansing. But her professional career started off with a small radio station in Lansing.
She has worked on television channels such as WLFL-TV and WPGH-TV as an anchor. In 2002, she joined the WXYZ-DT Action News as the station’s health reporter. The same year, she joined the 7 Action News This Morning team.

Moving onto her relationship status, Clifford is a married woman. She is married to the love of her life Gregory F. Goss. Although she has not disclosed the exact marriage date, the couple has been married for a long time.

Clifford’s Health Issues
Carolyn suffered from a fibroid tumor almost a size of a football as well as smaller ones on the verge to destroy her kidneys. She got her surgery done in 2018 and luckily no cancer was seen. She recovered from her surgery in four weeks and returned to work.
