At the end of 2008, she was on a musical tour. While she was performing in a musical concert, Carrie met Mike Fisher, who is a professional ice hockey center player. They began their romantic love affairs and finally, on December 2009 Carrie and his boyfriend announced their engagement.
After being together for about a year, they finally got married on 10th of July 2010. As a loving spouse, they became parents after the birth of their first child, Isaiah Michael Fisher. The couple is together, and there is no rumor of their divorce.
Carried raised in a middle-class family whose father was a sawmill worker and her mother was an elementary school teacher. Though she didn't have any link with music from her family, she became interested in singing since a young age.

After her high school graduation, she lost her dream to be a singer but in 2004 she auditioned for American Idol and after her audition, Simon Cowell guessed that she will be the winner of this competition and finally on 25th of May 2005 she became the winner of the 4th session of American Idol.
Her debut album, Some Hearts was released on 15th of November 2005. She has been earning a lucrative amount of salary annually. Her earning is growing rapidly i.e. around by $30 million per year. Her current net worth is about $80 million.
