Chaz Salvatore Bono was born as Chastity Sun Bono who is an American advocate, writer, musician, and actor, was born on 1969, March 4, in Loss Angles, California, he grew up in the spotlight as the only child of singers sonny Bono and Cher.

1988

Bono began a short music Ceremony

In 1993, Ceremony released its one and only album. Hang out Your Poetry had a pop sound heavily influenced by '60s rock. Bono counted the Grateful Dead among his favorite influences, and Jerry Garcia even performed on the album.

1996

Bono worked for Human Rights Campaign

 In the year 1996, Bono worked for the Human Rights Campaign and then became the media entertainment director for Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). Later,  he left GLAAD in 1998 after making some controversial comments regarding Ellen DeGeneres' sitcom, Ellen.

He first pursued his musical career in 1972 with a band called Ceremony. In addition, he started working as a writer for the national gay and lesbian magazine. As an Advocate, he started defending LGBT-related cases in the early 90s.

Later, Bono became a spokesperson for the Human Rights Campaign where he promoted National Coming Out Day. Bono has also served as Entertainment Media Director for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.

Taking about his personal life Bono was engaged to Jeniffer Elia, with whom he dated for about seven years from 2005 to 2011.
