Chris Isaak who is known for his falsetto-style voice was born as Christopher Joseph Isaak on 26th June 1956 to parents Dorothy Isaak and Joe Isaak. He was raised in a humble background in Stockton, California, United States of America. He is an American and is of Germans and Italian descent.
A graduate of Amos Alonzo Stagg High School, Chris joined San Joaquin Delta Community College but later he got transferred to the University of the Pacific. He completed his undergraduate degree in English and Communications Arts in 1980.
