Christina Judith Perri was born on August 19, 1986, is an American singer-songwriter and musician. Her debut single Jar of Hearts went on to sell over 3 million copies in the United States and was a hit around the world.
The singer was born in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, the US as the daughter of parents, father Mary Perri and Dante Perri. She also has an older brother named Nick Perri, a former guitar player and a cousin named Dominic Perri. She is of a mixed ethnic group as her father is from Italy and her mother is from Poland.
While talking about her schooling days as she graduated from her high school, Archbishop Ryan High School in 2004. The singer taught herself how to play guitar while 16 years old. She was once enrolled in college as a communication major for a year before dropping out to pursue her music career.
Christina Perri moved to Los Angeles when she was 21 years old. According to her, she used to cry every day as she was over 3000 miles away from her family. Later the same year, she got married and got divorced only after 18 months. She used to produce music videos during that time.
