Calm and ebullient, Chuck Norris was born as Carlos Ray Norris on 10 March 1940 in Ryan, Oklahoma, the United States of America to Wilma (née Scarberry) and Ray Norris. He was raised in Kansas California by his mother. He is an American citizen and is of Irish-Cherokee-Indian descent.
