Cowherd was also the owner of his Naples, Florida home. It was 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms mansion spread on an area of 3,562 square feet. However, he sold it to Best Buy Co. owner Allen Lenzimeier for $3.9 million at the end of 2015.

Apart from them, Cowherd also owned a house in West Hartford, Connecticut which he sold for $ 1.15 million before buying his Manhattan home. It was yet another amazing mansion that stood tall in an area of 6,100 square feet.

Cowherd’s career has been prolific since the beginning. He worked as the San Diego Padres play-by-play voice in the beginning phase of his career. After some time, Cowherd became the sports director of KVBC located in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also worked as a weekend sports anchor for WTVT. In 1996, he worked for KGW-TV as its sports anchor and in 2001, he began working for KFXX radio.

However, his career didn’t just stop there. He could be seen in ESPN’s later-morning time slot in 2003. He hosted ‘The Herd with Colin Cowherd’ for Fox Sports Radio. Besides, Cowherd also co-hosted ‘SportsNation’ of ESPN2. In 2013, ‘Colin’s New Football Show’ was also hosted by him.
