Colm began singing in internationally touring Irish choirs at the very early age. He got scholarship from singing at University College Dublin and graduated with honors Bachelor degree in music. He was the lead soloist with the Palestrina choir which was under the direction of O'Donovan. He then joined Piccolo Lasso Choir and Habemus Chamber choir where he recorded a lot of CDs and successfully took part in European tour and performed lead soloist.
