Connie Britton Opens up about being a single Mom, Is she Married or Single?

Motherhood surely is the greatest thing that can happen to any women. Sometimes it's not necessary for a man to exist in a woman’s life to raise a kid. Similar is the story of the ‘Nashville’ star Connie Britton. 

Britton is the mother of a six-year-old Yoby Britton whom she adopted from Ethiopia back in 2011. Being a single mom and going stable in her career as an actress wasn’t at all easy for Britton. Here’s what she has to say:

Britton, after the demise of her beloved father, took the decision to adopt a baby boy, Yoby. Although Britton wasn’t married, she felt that she was ready to embrace a baby to enjoy motherhood. The actress reveals that being a mom is not away from challenges, but that would have never stopped her.

Britton, quite the ambitious and courageous lady she is, proved her decision to be a correct one.

She also says that handling motherly duties and taking out time to film her hit TV show isn’t easy. She claims the schedule is very insane. She loses a lot of sleep at night worrying about the little less time she gets to sleep and the less time to spend with her son

Apart from all the difficulties, her son Yoby is having a great time and he even comes to the set each day. She says that at least she has that luxury while other working moms doesn’t.

Britton is very close to her son who couldn’t help praise about his curious character in an interview. She says that her son is curious about everything, but is very clever as well. She further gave an example saying that Yoby wants to open and close doors but he immediately learned to watch where his fingers are.

Although Britton is currently single, she says that she would love to raise her son with someone to whom Yoby can call dad. In an interview with Redbook mag back in 2014, Britton said that she wants Yoby to have a father figure.

She further said:

"I also know that putting that kind of pressure on myself or on a relationship would be disastrous. It’s funny – my married friends tell me all the time, 'What you have is so much easier.' When you’re doing it on your own, you don't have to [argue over] how you're raising the kids."

Connie Britton was married in the past

Britton doesn’t have a boyfriend at present and she isn’t even dating either. However, she was previously married to investment banker John Britton on 5th October 1991. Their marriage couldn’t succeed which eventually ended up in a divorce in 1995.

We all know, understand how tough things might be on Britton’s side, but as long as she is happy, we believe that her motherhood is doing great to her. However, we seriously wish that the gorgeous actress soon finds the right man for her who can become Yoby’s father.
