Daniel Kahneman has been married to love of his life Anne Treisman. Anne Treisman is a psychologist. She has also received National Medal of Science from President Barack Obama. They are still bonded as a married husband and wife. His nationality is American and Israeli and has Lithuanian ethnicity.
In the early 1950s, Daniel was enrolled at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. There he majored in psychology and also had a minor in mathematics. He finally earned his Bachelor of Science degree from there in 1954. He also studied PhD in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. While he was in Hebrew University of Jerusalem, he worked for the Israeli Defense Forces and that was in the psychology department. In 1961, he joined Hebrew University of Jerusalem and this time not as a student but as a lecturer in psychology. Five years later, he was named the senior lecturer. In 1966, he published an article titled Pupil Diameter and Load on Memory in the prestigious journal Science. In 1970s, he collaborated with Amos Tversky. Their first paper Belief in the Law of Small Numbers was published in 1971. At the end of 1970s, he published several articles in the general field of judgment and decision-making.
