Danielle Staub’s Ex-Husband Marty Caffrey Breaks Silence Over Her Split With Oliver Maier
Breaking his silence! Shortly after sources confirmed that Danielle Staub had parted ways with her newly engaged fiance, her ex-husband Marty Caffrey has spoken out about her recent split.
Marty wishes all the very best for his ex-wife but he had a feeling to share after the actress' engagement with her ex-fiancé Olivier Maier ended.
In a statement to Us Weekly, he said, "I wish, and will always wish, [for] Danielle to achieve true love and happiness."
He then said of Danielle's split with the businessman. Marey added, "I fell in love with her, remember? And although I divorced her last August, this still troubles me."
Marty's statement to the outlet comes hours after multiple sources confirmed that Danielle and Olivier just after a few weeks of dating.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 56, and the businessman were scheduled to marry at the Justice of the Peace in New York City on Monday, March 4.
But a source exclusively revealed on Saturday, March 2, that they did not hurry for the wedding and were postponing it.
Their engagement had come just after only one and a half months of dating. The reality star made her relationship with Marty Instagram official on February 25.
Alongside a photo of the pair sharing a kiss on a St. Barts beach, she wrote at the time, "Mystery solved #photocredit @berangeresbh."
The recent break up comes two weeks Danielle and Marty had their divorce finalized at the Bergen County Courthouse, after filing the papers in September.
