Danny is now in his early 40s but to date, there is no any information related to his love affairs and married life. He has been keeping his personal matters low and secret.
As a child, Danny got enrolled at Lockerbie Academy. Later on, he joined Merchiston Castle School. He was funny since the days he was in his school. He was also able to make the laughter among his high school friends. In 1998, he attended the Edinburgh Festival. He made his professional debut as a standup comedian that year. In 1999, he was also honored with The Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award. In 2001, he performed the full-length show at the Edinburgh Festival where he also gave extra shows to fulfill the demand of the fans. In 2004, he gave his performance at the New Zealand Comedy Festival where he made the record of most tickets ever sold.
