Danny O'Donoghue is a well-known singer and songwriter from Ireland. He is popular for being the frontman of the Irish alternative rock band called The Script. He has also served as the head coach on the reality singing talent show called The Voice UK.
Danny O'Donoghue was born as Daniel John Mark Luke O'Donoghue on October 3, 1980, in Dublin, Ireland to Shay O'Donoghue and Ailish O'Donoghue. He is the youngest of the six children. He was brought in Ballinteer, Dublin along with his siblings. He holds Irish nationality and belongs to the white ethnicity. As of 2018, he weighs about 84 kg and stands a perfect height of 6 ft 2 inches.
During his early age, he was against being a musician, however, later he dropped out of school to pursue his musical career.
Danny O'Donoghue began his musical career by joining a band called Mytown. Later, he went to Los Angeles, where he began writing and producing for numerous popular artists including Boyz II Men, Britney Spears, and TLC. After some time, he returned back to Dublin and formed a band The Script, together with Mark Sheehan and Glen Power in 2001. After seven years, the band released eponymous debut album on August 8, 2008. The album became both a commercial and critical success.
After a couple of years, the band released its second studio album called Science and Faith. Likewise, the band released two more albums including #3 and No Sound Without Silence. In 2012, he was appointed as a coach of the reality television show The Voice UK alongside Jessie J, Tom Jones, and Will.i.am. In this show, he worked for two regular seasons.
Coming to his love life, Danny initially dated his girlfriend Irma Mali. However, he separated from her after dating her for sometimes and began dating his new girlfriend Anne De Paula, a model.
