Dave Salmoni started his career as an animal trainer at Bowmanville Zoological Prak. Later he went to South Africa as a part of the controversial Tiger rewilding project in 2000. During the time, he was attacked by one of his trained big cats named Bongo.
Apart from this, Dave Salmoni has also produced and hosted several television documentaries including Sharks: Are They Hunting Us?, & Into the Lion Den both for Discovery Channel. Dave has also appeared on the show Animal Face-off as an expert and a host. Currently, he produces and hosts the Discovery Channel show Rogue Nature and Into the Pride and After the Attack on Animal Planet.
