Debbi Morgan is an American film and TV actress best known for starring in the ABC soap opera All My Children for which she received a "Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series" in 1989.

Debbi Morgan was born as Deborah Ann Morgan on September 20, 1956, in Dunn, North Carolina, United States, to parents George Morgan Jr. and Lora Morgan.
Her father was a butcher while her mother was a teacher. She and her family moved to New York City when she was only three months old. She is of American nationality and black ethnicity.
Her dad passed away after suffering from leukemia. She was was eight years old at the time. After the death of her father, she was raised by her mother along with her sister Terry Morgan-Grant.
Her mom used to work as a secretary and a typing instructor at Junior High School 80 in the Bronx. Debbi studied at parochial school and later attended Aquinas High School in the Bronx from where she graduated in 1974.
Career
Debbi Morgan made both her acting and film debut with Olga Winter in the comedy crime movie Cry Uncle in 1971.
She has since appeared in dozens of movies such as Eve's Bayou, The Hurricane, Love and Basketball, Coach Carter, Asunder, Woman Thou Art Loosed, Mandingo, She's All That, Color of the Cross and A Royal Family Christmas.
She has also appeared in the 2016 docudrama film Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart alongside Toni Braxton, Lex Scott Davis and Tiffany Hines.
Morgan made her television debut with two episodes of family drama sitcom Good Times in 1976. She has since starred in dozens of TV shows such as All My Children, Loving, Roots: The Next Generations, Behind the Screen, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.
Her last appearance in a television show was two episodes of The Defenders in 2017.
