Desperate Housewives' Felicity Huffman Charged and Arrested for a Exam Cheating Scam; Lori Loughlin Follows

Felicity Huffman, the star from the series Desperate Housewives is amongst the 40 people who are charged and arrested with the cheating scam in a US college.

The cheating scam involves helping a student cheat in the college's entrance exam and also helping get non-athletic students admitted on forged athletic scholarships. 

As per the accusations, Felicity Huffman funded $15,000 participated in this plan of action for the sake of her eldest daughter.

Some purported that Huffman was planning on using the scheme again for the second time for the sake of her younger daughter.

Felicity was charged with conspiracy to commit honest services mail fraud. 

The actress was recorded discussing the scheme with a witness.

According to the tabloids, the witness met Felicity Huffman and her husband, William H Macy at their residence in Los Angeles.

They discussed the college cheating scheme and the couple agreed with what the witness proposed to do.

Felicity Huffman appeared before the court on Tuesday 12th March 2019.

She was released after paying $250,000 as bail but the judge has restricted her traveling rights within the US.

Lori Loughlin from the TV show Full House has also been indicted but she has not been taken into custody.
